Hello Everybody! I tell you this week has flown by and I was so excited to share with you the awesome junkin’ adventure I had last weekend. As you know I live in Miami and I’ve posted before about not having any vintage finds around these parts. Well I went up to see my sister last weekend for a trip to “The Fancy Flea” this is a vintage home and garden market with treasures galore. I complain that I need a truck because I go to these vintage flea markets and fall in love with just about everything of course, that I can’t buy because I have no way of bringing it back home. (Well unless I rent a U-Haul truck, but then the hubs would probably divorce me). This place had everything from vintage, antiques, farmhouse, rustic, chippy goodness and everything in-between, I truly felt giddy walking down all the isles of amazing vintage items; it was a farmhouse loving girls dream come true. I tell you I could have done some real damage to the bank account if I wasn’t so frugal. Anyway here are just a few of the beautiful items that I did not buy, (believe me there was a lot more) but had to take pics of to share with you, my blog family.
Friends there were olive buckets and dough bowls for days. All different shapes, sizes and colors.
I got that window pane and look at this HOME sign (below) what a cute idea placing a small wreath for the O. Don’t you love those shutters? So many ideas going through my brain right now….
This dresser was converted into a wine rack by removing the 2 bottom drawers.
What a “Genius” idea!
Just take a look at all this chippy goodness. I want it all!!
What about this antique Singer sewing machine, is it not a beauty?
I tell you friends that this was an absolute dream day for me. What a better way to spend the weekend, than going junkin’ on a sunny day with loved ones and finding beautiful items as well as getting amazing ideas for projects at the same time. There were so many amazingly talented people there with helpful tips and tricks to for any DIYer. I can’t wait to share with you the items that I did actually buy and how I will use them to decorate my home.
Well I hope you enjoyed this trip to “The Fancy Flea” with me. Thank you for visiting the blog.
“Happy cinco de Mayo” and have a great weekend:)
